So, I finally did it! I made my Kepa map all nice a perdy in photoshop. It took FOREVER. Well, actually only 3 hours, but it felt like forever....
It's REALLY big so you might need to full view to see everything... Want to read more about Kepa?

See my journals for many cultural things about Kepa and my gallery for the many species that abide in my Fantasy world.
A short description of HOW I MADE THIS:
1/ Draw out map with black outline with tablet.
2/ Select lines around continents and delete.
3/ Delete space around continents
4/ Select each continent seperately and darken around the edges.
5/ New layer below continents Add blue highlights to water.
6/ Below continents past paperish textures and play with transparency.
7/ Add compass at 50% transparency
8/ Add continent titles at 50% transparency
9/ I used a brush that photoshop 7.0 already has to make the border.

Dear lord ^^
I consider myself a decent/novice map maker, but this is genius.
This looks like a genuine map.
10/10 ^^
