If you don't know about Kepa here's a little description directly from my website:
K.E.P.A is the name of my made up world. As explained on the front page of this website, it has been one of my life's dreams to create a world and the people who live there. Currently I have a list of almost 40 characters in a striped blue notebook I keep on hand at all times. Each letter of K.E.P.A. stands for a different continent. "K" for Kinvorrad known for its brilliant scholars and ability to create such acurate maps. "E" is for Ezeryk known for its inacapability to get its royalty right. They have previously had a set of twins, a crow and a prince who loved his servant reign over their country. Ezeryk is also very rich in music and art. "P" stands for Phalo which is the continent where magic was born. There was once hundreds of magic weilders there, but most of them perished during the K/A battle, leaving only 15 survivers. "A" stands for Atoxiel which is is large in strength and numbers, but doesn't do so well academically. The feircest men and women train here. Also, Atoxiel is almost always the start of a war. For some reason their kings enjoy long bloody wars.
That would be... amazing! My biggest challenge is creating a believable climate map. What is realistic where and such. And programs too that would be much appreciated!
well if you dont wanna buy photoshop like me, i use paint, BUT if you want good effects etc...etc.. then get this program called Inkscape. its free and works great. If not then just use Photoshop and youtube some tutorials. A tip for the future, try to use more colours great work over all once again.
I have photoshop luckily. But I'll look into that one. I thought as much, it suppose to me a climate map, but I haven't made definite climate areas yet.
Are the names and measurements of time on the website KEPA-wide or from your major/most important conculture? (Or am I totally misunderstanding this...?)
The one in the center looks like Wales, sort of. (Ooh, Welsh... )
It took a lot of planning and layering of colour before I was finally satisfied with it. I like the result too!
